Dec. 8 – Montreal-Nord (We were 2^nd here let’s try for #1)

Apr 11-13 – Provincials (Trois-Riviere) (We were #2 by only 220 points last year, we are gunning for #1)

Apr. 15-25 – FINA Masters World Championships (Perth, AU)

May 16-19 – Nationals (Quebec City) (We can easily be top 5, but really we should try to be top 3)

June 7 – Repentigny BBQ meet

June 28 – 3e Festival des Matires Nageurs (Jean-Drapeau pool)
I am sure there will be more added for the winter but this is what the FNQ have so far. Also some Ottawa meets will be added too.

For those who compete there you can register for the Million KM Challenge. All the information is on the above web site and you will need to get your FNQ# from me. You get a free cap for every 250,000kms or approx. 100 practices.

Some Brief Reminders for the Pool Deck

- Please do not wear a watch when swimming. Stray arms with a watch can hurt.

- Bring a water bottle

-Shower before practice!

New Board of Directors

Last night was the team’s Annual General Meeting and there was a shuffle in the Board of Directors. In the first position that has needed an election in the team’s history (everyone to this point has been acclimated) Rosalind Davis has become the President of the club. The out going president, Rosemary Cooke who has served as President for the past two years, will stay on the Board as Past-President. Rosemary has been instrumental in getting the team a formal constitution, the creation of job descriptions for the Head Coach and regular Coaching positions, and has overseen the massive growth in the tam in the last two years. Thanks for your hard work Rosemary.

I would also like to thank Celeste Johnston, who stepped down from her Member-at-Large position, for her work on the Board over the past years, especially organizing the team swimsuits. We now have a visual identity on the pool deck at the YMAC, Jean-Drapeau, and at meets. Your hard work and efforts will be missed.
